Theseus II

The Theseus II is a custom built sailboat built and operated by Bruno J. Owen. It has a unique sail system consisting of two vertical axis turbines, one foreward and one aft. These turbines consist of three tall wing-shaped blades that catch the wind to generate forward momentum and rotate to drive generators which in turn power the electric main screw.

The ship is named after the Theseus, an Empyreal submarine tasked with carrying out a preemptive strike on the city of Estavelle during the Third Succession War. Instead Bruno led the crew to mutiny and the submarine was scuttled off the coast. The Theseus II serves as a memorial to that submarine and the lives lost.
