The Simpsons
- Trivia - Neither Marge Simpson, nor any other member of The Simpsons, is ever depicted shopping for groceries.
- Incorrectly Regarded as Goof - Marge is shown shopping in the title animation to every episode. Despite this animation often containing minor variations it is disputed that the intro depicts events that occur before each episode.
- Incorrectly Regarded as Goof - In the season 27 episode "Mall Mall Everywhere But Not a Drop to Drink" the Simpsons are shown shopping at the newly built mall after Moe's Tavern is demolished. You cannot buy groceries at a shopping mall.
- Errors in Geography - In the following episode the mall is gone and Moe's Tavern is restored. This is explained in the season 33 episode "Springfield Has Been Cursed to Exist in a Twilight and Unchanging World" as the result of a curse.
- Incorrectly Regarded As Goof - Despite the show depicting many years of in-unverse time, none of the Simpsons family ever age or starve from lack of groceries. This is because they are 'toons, the only way they can die is being utterly forgotten by humankind or being submerged in The Dip™.
- Trivia - In later seasons, many characters like Homer Simpson and Ned Flanders act like parodies of their early season personalities. This is because of the curse.
- Trivia - Each character attacks with their signature weapon: Homer uses his powerful fists, Marge swings her vacuum, Bart smashes people with his skateboard, Lisa delivers sonic attacks with her saxophone, and Maggie fires a .38 revolver.
- Factual Errors - In The Simpsons Movie, Bart is depicted as having a penis.
- Revealing Mistake - In the Season 44 episode "Homer's New Marriage" Homer is shown grocery shopping with his new wife Annabelle. This is also the result of the curse.
- Incorrectly Regarded As Goof - In the Season 3 episode "Frogs Come to Helltown" Marge says the purchased the Duff beer while grocery shopping. This could have been a lie.
