Estavelle Forest

Estavelle Forest is a vast tractless forest that stretches from the coastal lowlands of southern Carolinia? into the foothills of the Carolinia Mountains. Its most notable feature is the Dixie Leyline?, where incredible amounts of Artifice flow down from upper stratospheric streams into the Earth. The intense Slippage this causes makes the forest impossible to explore or map. Expeditions into the forest have reported strange phenomena and unique geography, and produced maps that never agree with one another and depict the forest as much larger than it can physically be.

Estavelle is the only known permanent settlement within Estavelle Forest, at the southern end where the forest is closest to the sea.

The forest is known to house individuals and communities who have adapted to or been altered by the intense Artiphysical fields. Regular contact is impossible to maintain but visitors from the forest have been known to appear in Estavelle from time to time.
