Beat acts as a random update monkey for the Encyclopedia, providing content on a "whenever" basis. The items he contributes swing eratically between acceptable quality and horrible failures. He tries his very hardest to be mean to the people around him, but his success with said endevor has been limited. He likes punk rock, hates communists and has no regrets to speak of.
For some reason, Beat is facinated by the psycology behind video games, accountancy prodecures, and cryptozoology. He is not quite sure why these things captivate his intrest, as normal people regard them to be, useless, boring, and insane respectively.
His bad habits include flying into a screaming rage at people he barely knows because he thinks their reactions are hilarious, and corn.
