This list does not seek to determine how "punk" a band is. A band can have great amounts of that poorly defined attribute known as "punk" and still suck horribly. No this list serves only to tell you how good the bands are that fall under the wide umbrella term of Punk. You don't like it, too bad.

We make it a point to not listen to bad music on purpose, as of press time, we are unaware of the existance of the worst Punk band of all time. We're sure they're out there somewhere though. Waiting in the darkness... piling endless torture upon their hapless victem... wait. Actually, we know exactly who fits that bill.
