You draw your sword and swing it in a wide arc across the width of the error. Normal swords would be rendered worthless from contact with an error, but yours is magically enchanted to be more resistant to such things.
It travels clean through the error without seeming to cause any change. You notice, however, that now after you swung at it the error appears smaller, and slightly more greenish.
